I like your post-I believe that the major issue related to the environment is that thus far "protecting" the environment hasn't been a money maker. Today, blogs like yours might be the best and fastest way to get folks information quickly while giving a bigger picture to the average reader. Blogs have the opportunity to give readers the bloggers opinion while supporting it with links to facts or other back-up materials. Nice work! I learned quite a bit from your blog!

Good post.

The spirit of collaboration is one of the greatest shifts in the move from the print mentality to the digital mentality. And environmental stories are the perfect example: they tend to be expensive and of low entertainment value. Perfect for the passionate crowd, difficult for corporations to cover.

Good job. You might need to incorporate a greater degree of self-identification in posts like these (for context), but the content and direction are good.

I completely agree with you. I think that we can cover environmental issues while still appealing to the economic crisis. Using times for energy conservation is one really easy way to do it. Blogging is a great way to express your opinion openly and still provide relevant information. I sometimes prefer reading blogs for reasons that you mentioned (quick, funny, etc) over mainstream news for different subjects, particularly ones that I already have an opinion on!
